In August 2002, the authorities approved the holding of driving safety training courses in the former Laui gravel pit in Seelisberg. Shortly after, the first driving events took place and car importers presented their products to selected target groups. With the growing demand for driving events, the need for a more suitable infrastructure next to the tracks also increased. Thus, in 2007, on the one hand, the varied off-road course was extended by an asphalted training track and, on the other hand, the existing blockhouse was supplemented by additional theory and event rooms. Since then, in cooperation with partners, numerous events, new driver and other car driving courses have taken place at the traffic safety center in Seelisberg.

In the fall of 2012, the most comprehensive structural expansion was tackled and officially opened on June 29, 2013. The attractive log cabin complex and the state-of-the-art driving facilities with various sliding surfaces, skid plates, sudden obstacles, crests and steep ramps make the Event and Road Safety Center in Seelisberg one of the most attractive training and further education centers for drivers of all categories.

The Eventcenter Seelisberg AG is recognized by the Association of Road Traffic Offices ASA as a further education center CZV, has the authorization as a course organizer for two-phase training WAB from the Office for Road and Ship Traffic of the Canton of Uri and is Eduqua certified.

The Road Safety Center in Seelisberg UR is located at 850 m above sea level, directly above Lake Lucerne, 30 km or 20 minutes from Lucerne and in the heart of Switzerland.

By car you can reach us via the Gotthard freeway A2, exit no. 35 "Beckenried Seelisberg Emmetten". After about 9 minutes in the direction of Emmetten Seelisberg, 3 km after the village "Emmetten", we are on the right side.

If you arrive by public transport, use the Postauto line 311 "Stans-Seelisberg" to its own stop "Seelisberg, Laui".
