Winter driving training Seelisberg Snow and ice
Aim of the course:
To increase personal safety with your own vehicle.
Course content:
- Brief introduction: driving physics, forces, assistance systems
- Slalom: correct seating position, driving line, gaze and steering technique, coordination of acceleration and deceleration
- Braking: various braking exercises at different speeds on snow/ice
- Self-steering behavior when driving in circles and figure eights: Load change reactions, effect of centrifugal force during oversteer and understeer
- Brief introduction: feedback questions, tires, cornering
- Cornering and corner braking: focus on cornering line, visibility/driving technique, optimum speed, self-steering behavior in the event of understeer and oversteer with necessary countermeasures; emergency braking in a curve
- Driving uphill and downhill
- Braking/swerving: Simultaneous braking and steering around obstacles
- Slalom challenges: Correct driving line and speed when changing direction in quick succession
- Final exercise: All elements can be combined and practiced again individually
Cost per day:
Our winter driving training is also recommended by the Road Safety Fund and is currently supported with a refund of CHF 100. This refund will be deducted directly from the invoice and, if the conditions are not met after the course, will be invoiced by us. Participants with a learner's license and or without a place of residence/work in Switzerland, for example, will not receive a refund; in addition, only one course attendance per course type and calendar year will be refunded.
